In aceastA experienta colectiva, autorii devin parteneri ai unei calatorii încarcate de întrebari, ca o “psihopompa” moderna, in care se sterg limitele identitatii impuse. Fie ca fac o critica sociala, ca surprind relatiile complexe ale unui razboi de gherila sau dezintegrarea si recoagularea unei familii, in povestile prezentate de BIDFF se renegociaza constant raportul dintre a castiga si a renunta.

It consists of 4 chapters: Martial Arts, Dance, Ball Games, Leports. ‘BOOKANIMA: Dance' is the second chapter to create Locomotion of Dance along with the stream: Ballet-Korean dance-Modern dance-Jazz dance-Aerial Silk-Tap dance-Aerobic-Disco-Break dance-Hip hop-Social dance. 부카니마(BOOKANIMA)는 ‘Book’과 ‘Anima’의 합성어로서 책에게 영화적 생명력을 부여하는 프로젝트이다. 이 작업은 궁극적으로 ‘관람하는 책’을 창작해 책과 영화의 경계에 놓일 제 3의 지점을 탐험한다. 이 과정에서 에드워드 머이브리지와 엔티엔 쥘 마레에게 오마주를 바치며 크로노포토그래피에 입각한 로코모션을 실험한다. 프로젝트는 로코모션에 관한 네 챕터 무술, 춤, 구기운동, 레포츠로 구성된다. ‘부카니마: 춤'은 두 번째 장으로서 발레-한국무용-현대무용-재즈댄스-에어리얼실크-탭댄스-에어로빅-디스코-브레이크 댄스-힙합-사교댄스 순으로 춤의 흐름에 따라 로코모션을 창작한다.

The Golden Dancing Girl in WASHED UP BABIES, is our modern day Psychopomp, escorting Alan Kurdi and all the refugee children that have tragically drowned, onto the afterlife. Her energy gives the living some hope that love may change the world. In 2015 Abdulla Kurdi lost his wife, Rehanna, 35 and their two sons, Ghalib, 5, and Alan, 3, while crossing the Mediterranean Sea in search of a new home. Alan Kurdi made the news when he was found face down dead on a beach after the inflatable boat he and his family were on, was overturned by large waves. The Kurdi family were fleeing the war in Syria. They were willing to risk their lives in an attempt to find a new place to call home. Their choices were either to stay in Syria and die or risk it all on the open sea for a chance of a better life. This film uses an interview with the father describing his horrifying experiences which is juxtaposed with footage of a 3yo golden toddler dancing on a british beach. The film is a permanent reminder that children belong to all of us and we have a collective responsibility to protect them.

10 filme din Franta, Danemarca, Africa de Sud, Marea Britanie, Brazilia, Olanda, Finlanda, Spania si Austria creeaza o poarta catre o alta realitate, masoara spatiul cu gesturi si surprind o lume irationala, cateodata periculoasa. În aceasta selectie timpul joaca un rol important, accelerand treptat catre o cursa absurda, in care perceptia este profund alterata, gravitatia compune un taram suprarealist si se poarta o disputa pentru sincronicitate. Povestile lor sunt salbatice si transfigurate sau de o frumusete ireala, explorand impulsuri greu de acceptat. In fata acestei tentatii, omul fie dispare din fata ochilor lumii, fie devine o lume in sine.

In Bosch's hell, she was condemned to look at her own reflection. Forever. Condemned by her vanity, she is vanity. Spirit that wanders through the darkness of the Garden of Earthly Delights. She is vanitas. A latin noun means "emptiness" and "vanity." And it also refers to the "vanitas" paintings of the Middle Ages. A type of symbolic work of art from northern Europe and the Netherlands, from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, which seem like a morbid artifact, but act as a reminder of the ephemerality of life.
